In the issues concerning economic improvement Paladino and Cuomo each have their own ideas about how they would go about making a change in this depressed economy. Andrew Cuomo main focus is on regional needs and resources.Paladino plans to cut taxes or eliminate taxes on manufacturers as a way to lure more people to come and join the state. According to Michael Gormley of the mpnnow.com website Paldino plans to cut personal income taxes by ten percent. He figures more people will move to New York to evade the taxes. Cuomo wants to end a highly criticized system which a state agency run by government appointees award tax breaks to attract or retain employers.
